This was my idea of a perfected ribbon stripe uniform. The shoulder stripe ended in a ribbon, and a spaced out gray stripe was added, mimicking the helmet logo. I thought the ribbon stripe idea was solid, just needed better execution. Of course, the success of the DWS 100 uniforms quickly relegated the ribbon stripe unis to the past.
This was my first baseball concept, completed before the start of the 2014 season. The classic western script is here to stay, and here a gray jersey with the script is added to the existing white and maroon versions. The maroon jersey with the interlocking MS are kept, as well are the pinstripe jerseys added last year. The black jerseys are scrapped in favor of a cream jersey with the interlocking MS. Posted on the CCSLC, along with some concepts for other college baseball teams.
This concept, completed before the 2013 season, proposed slightly changing the shoulder stripe and adding a white helmet.
This photo-realistic concept extended the ribbon stripe to the sleeve, moved the numbers to the undershirt, adopted the bulldog head helmet full-time, and added black and gold alternates.
My first concept, designed before the Ribbon Stripe unis were announced, proposed traditional stripes on the sleeves, along with a straight throwback to the Snow Bowl uniforms. If you look closely, you'll notice that the home uniforms have "This is Our State" on the chest, which would have been legal at the time.
UPDATE: In 2016, FOUR years after I posted this concept, the Bulldogs debuted new white jerseys and pants with the exact stripes I proposed in this concept. I guess you could say I predicted the future here.
