2024 vs Eastern Kentucky
1 Game In the 2024 season opener, the field design featured the Script "State" painted in maroon outlined in white at midfield and grass color end zones with white text outlined in maroon. This was the first time that the Script "State" had appeared at midfield in maroon when the end zones were not also maroon. |
2023:
2023 vs Kentucky
1 Game For the 2023 Homecoming game vs Kentucky, Mississippi State wore 1998 throwback uniforms with a field design to match! The "Interlocking MSU" logo was painted at midfield in maroon outlined in white while the end zones read "Miss. State" and "Bulldogs" in the throwback font featured on the front of the jerseys. |
2023 vs LSU, Alabama, and Western Michigan
3 Games Maroon end zones returned for the third home game of 2023 as Mississippi State hosted LSU, along with Maroon-White-Maroon striping on the 20 yard lines. Both of these features would remain for the rest of the season, and this exact design would remain for three games. |
2023 vs SE Louisiana
1 Game For the 2023 season, Mississippi State painted the Script "State" logo at midfield for the first time ever and "Bulldogs" in an end zone for the first time in years! In the season opener, the field design featured the Script "State" painted in white outlined in maroon, "Mississippi State" and "Bulldogs" text in the non-painted end zones, both white outlined in maroon. Additionally, all 2023 fields featured "Bulldog Club" lettering on the sidelines below each goal post. The season opening field design also featured the signature of the late Mike Leach on both sidelines. |
2022:
2022 vs East Tennessee State
1 Game The 2022 East Tennessee State game was the last to feature the "M-State" logo at midfield. It featured a 20-yard wide version of the logo with a maroon M, white banner, and gray outline. The rest of the field was the same as the previous week, featuring two maroon end zones with "Mississippi State" lettering and the SEC and SW78 logos on the 25s. |
2022 vs Auburn
1 Game For the Auburn game in 2022, a logo was added to both 25 yard lines in memory of the late Sam Westmoreland. This logos was a black circle outlined in white with "SW 78" text inside the circle. Additionally, the white outline around the field was expanded to be the same width for the entire perimeter. |
2022 vs Memphis
1 Game For the 2022 season, "Mississippi State" replaced "Hail State" in the south end zone, meaning that both end zones now contained "Mississippi State" lettering. Additionally, end zones were painted maroon for the entire season. The season opening field design featured a 10+ yard wide version of the "M-State" logo at midfield and a "Stronger Together" script painted in white out of bounds in all four corners along the 10 yard line. |
2021:
2021 vs Kentucky
1 Game In the 2021 Homecoming win over Kentucky, Mississippi State honored the 2021 National Championship baseball team by wearing the M over S logo on its helmets. The field design followed suit, the M over S painted on the 25 yard lines opposite the SEC logos. The end zone text was white outlined in maroon, and the field was outlined in maroon and white from the 20 yard line to the end zone on either side. |
2021 vs Alabama
1 Game Against Alabama in 2021, Mississippi State's field design featured several asymmetrical elements, including "Mississippi State" lettering in maroon outlined in white in the north end zone but "Hail State" lettering in white outlined in maroon in the south end zone. The field was outlined in white on the north side from the 20 to the end zone, gray in midfield from 20 to 20, and maroon on the south size from the 20 to the end zone. |
2021 vs LSU
1 Game Mississippi State went with a simplified field design as they hosted LSU in 2021, with a solid white outline around the entire field, white lettering in both end zones outlined in maroon, and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard line. This was the same exact field design as the 2017 LSU game. |
2021 vs NC State
1 Game On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Mississippi State's field design featured the patriotic stars-and-stripes 20-yard wide "M-State" logo and the flight numbers of the four flights painted in white against the maroon painted sidelines. Those sidelines were painted maroon and white from the 20 to the end zone on both sides; the end zones both featured white lettering outlined in maroon. The 20 yard lines featured Maroon-White-Maroon stripes. |
2021 vs Louisiana Tech
1 Game Mississippi State had a simple field design for the 2021 home opener, with a 20-yard wide M-State logo at midfield, plain end zones with white lettering outlined in maroon, Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard lines, "Stronger Together" logos in all four corners at the 10 yard lines, and no thick outline on either side from the 20s to the end zones. |

2020 vs Missouri
1 Game In an extremely rare mid-to-late December home game in 2020, Mississippi State wore all-black against Missouri, including black helmets for the first time ever. To match, the text in both end zones was solid black, the 20s and 50 yard lines were outlined in black, and the "M-State" and SEC logos were both filled in black. |
2020 vs Vanderbilt
1 Game For the 2020 Homecoming game, Mississippi State wore "Flying M" throwback uniforms, and painted the field to match! The "Flying M" mark was painted 10 yards wide at midfield, accompanied by solid maroon end zone text, a thick white outline around the entire field, and "Stronger Together" logos in all four corners on the sidelines. |

1 Game When Mississippi State was finally able to host a game in 2020, the field design featured a 20-yard "M-State" at midfield, solid white end zone text, maroon and white sidelines from the 15s to the end zones on both sides, and "Stronger Together" logos painted in all four corners on the sidelines. |

2019 vs Ole Miss
1 Game For the 2019 Egg Bowl, Mississippi State painted the end zones maroon for the first time since the 2017 Egg Bowl. This field also featured Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20s and 50 yard lines and White-Maroon-White-Maroon-White stripes along the sidelines from the 15s to the end zones on both sides. |

1 Game The field design for Mississippi State's game against the eventual National Champions LSU featured a whiteout theme, with solid white end zone lettering, a thick solid white outline around the entire field, Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 50 yard line, and pink breast cancer awareness ribbons on the 25 yard lines opposite the SEC logos. |

2016 vs South Alabama
1 Game In 2016, Mississippi State moved away from the Bulldog logo at midfield and moved to using the then-primary version of the M-State logo. It was the first time ever that an M-State logo with a maroon M and white "banner" had been featured at midfield. The field design included the M-State logo from 40-to-40, maroon end zones with white text outlined in gray - "Mississippi State" in the north end zone and "Hail State" in the south end zone, which was flipped from the previous four seasons - and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard lines. |

2015 vs Ole Miss
1 Game For the 2015 Egg Bowl, the field featured maroon end zones with white text outlined in gray and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 and 50 yard lines. Maroon circles with white "MJ" text were on both 25 yard lines opposite the SEC logos in memory of the late Keith Joseph Jr and Sr. This would be the final field design featuring the "Standing Bulldog" logo at midfield. |
2015 vs LSU and Northwestern State
2 Games In 2015, the "Standing Bulldog" logo returned to midfield. The first two games featured a very nice field design that featured White-Maroon-White sideline striping from the 25s to the end zones that ended in a "ribbon" shape at the 25, white end zone text outlined in maroon, and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 and 50 yard lines. |

1 Game The final home game of 2014 featured maroon end zones with white text outlined in gray and thick white sidelines. 2 Games The field design for the #1 team in the country as they hosted Arkansas and UT Martin in 2014 featured alternating white and maroon sideline striping from the 25s to the end zones, and maroon end zone text outlined in white. Otherwise, the field design was the same as the rest of the season: DWS100 logo at midfield, alternating SEC and M-State logos on the 25s, and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard lines. |
2014 vs Texas A&M and Auburn
2 Games The field design for Mississippi State as they hosted College Gameday and became the #1 team in the country featured thick white sideline striping and was otherwise, the same as the rest of the season: DWS100 logo at midfield, alternating SEC and M-State logos on the 25s, and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard lines. |
2014 vs Southern Miss and UAB
2 Games In 2014, Mississippi State celebrated the 100th anniversary of Davis Wade Stadium with a newly renovated north end zone. The field design for 2014 featured a commemorative logo at midfield, alternating SEC and M-State logos on the 25s, and Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 20 yard lines. For the first two games, the field was outlined with a thick white sideline that itself was outlined in maroon from the 25s to the end zones. |

2013 vs Alcorn State and Troy
2 Games For the first two games of 2013, the field design at Davis Wade Stadium featured the "Standing Bulldog" logo at midfield, white end zone text outlined in maroon, with "HAIL STATE" in the north end zone and "MISSISSIPPI STATE" in the south end zone. This was the first time that "HAIL STATE" had been featured in an end zone without the hashtag. |

2012 vs Arkansas
1 Game For the final home game of 2012, the "Standing Bulldog" logo was featured at mid field for the first time ever. It was flanked by gray SEC logos on the 35s, a thick white sideline, and maroon end zones with white text. The north end zone text read "36 Nick Bell" in memory of the late Nick Bell. This also was the final game with the blacked out 36 yard line markers in his memory. |
2012 vs Texas A&M
1 Game When Mississippi State hosted Texas A&M for the first time ever as SEC opponents, the Bulldogs went all out on a "Snow Bowl" theme, wearing all-white alternate uniforms and painting a special field design. This design featured a gray M-State logo at midfield, maroon end zones with gray text outlined in white, with "#SNOWBOWL12" text in the north end zone and "MISSISSIPPI STATE" text in the south end zone. This would be the final game with this version of the M-State logo at midfield, and the last game with any version of it at midfield until 2016. |
2012 vs Tennessee
1 Game Against Tennessee, the field design featured maroon "#HAILSTATE" text outlined in white in the north end zone and white "MISSISSIPPI STATE" text outlined in maroon in the south end zone. 1 Game For the 2011 Egg Bowl, the field at Davis Wade Stadium featured what was easily its most unique design yet, with a maroon M-State logo at midfield outlined in gold, Gold-Maroon-White-Maroon-Gold stripes on the 20 and 50 yard lines, maroon SEC logos with gold lettering on the 35s, half maroon and half white sidelines, and maroon end zones with white text. While the south end zone featured the traditional "MISSISSIPPI STATE" text, the north end zone featured "#HAILSTATE" for the first time ever, encouraging fans to tweet #HailState in what was a very innovate design decision for the time. |

1 Game Against Florida, the field design featured a maroon M-State logo at midfield - the only time in 2009 that the midfield logo was not white. 2009 vs Jackson State
1 Game In 2009, Mississippi State kicked off the Dan Mullen era and introduced a complete university rebrand, which included a completely revamped field design at Davis Wade Stadium. The new field design included a new field number font and end zone font that is very similar to the then brand new athletic department wide "Bulldog Bold" font. The midfield logo was updated to the then brand new version of the M-State logo. For the season opener, the field design featured a white M-State logo at midfield, Maroon-White-Maroon stripes on the 50 yard line, white "MISSISSIPPI STATE" text outlined in maroon in both end zones, and thick maroon sidelines outlined in white from the 25s to the end zones. |
