2024
Mississippi State returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2024, qualifying for the Stanford Regional as a 2 seed. The Bulldogs defeated Cal State Fullerton in their opening game before narrowly falling to host Stanford in the winner's bracket game and then being eliminated by Cal State Fullerton later that night. 2022
For the first time in program history, Mississippi State won a regional and advanced to a Super Regional in 2022! The Bulldogs fought through the loser's bracket and defeated #2 overall seed Florida State in back-to-back games to win the 2022 Tallahassee Regional. Since Arizona, a 3 seed, won the opposing Regional, Mississippi State had the opportunity to host the Super Regional. The 2022 Starkville Super Regional was the end of the line for the season, as Arizona swept the series to advance to the Women's College World Series. In 2015, Mississippi State was a 3 seed in a regional, losing twice to 2 seed Baylor but defeating 4 seed Weber State in an elimination game. Mississippi State wore three different jerseys in the 2015 NCAA Tournament: maroon with the banner logo, white with "STATE" lettering down the placket, and gray with "BULLDOGS" lettering. The white jerseys were only worn for the first 4 innings of the Weber State game before a rain delay hit.
