In 2014, the Bulldogs posted an impressive 18-12 SEC Record, the best at that point under John Cohen, but a lackluster non conference record forced them to travel in regionals as a #2 seed. In the Lafayette Regional, the Bulldogs won their first two games, but their lack of offense caught up to them in two consecutive loss to Louisiana to end their season in regionals.
