In Ben Howland's first year as head coach, the Bulldogs retained the Maroon, White, and Black jerseys from the 2015-16 Season, wearing them for a majority of the season. They also introduced Adidas-designed cream throwbacks for the second year in a row; they were worn three times. For the postseason, Adidas introduced a new and very much improved home and away set. The Bulldogs wore the new maroon uniforms in a loss vs Georgia in the SEC Tournament that end the Bulldogs' season. As a result, the new white jerseys that were introduced never had a chance to be worn.
