I don't want to jinx anything, but 2017 is shaping up to be one of Mississippi State's best baseball uniform seasons ever, all the way from the BP Tops and 3D Helmet logos to the return of the classic pinstripe uniforms.
To start the season on Friday, the Bulldogs wore the same uniform as they did in every Friday game last season, the Maroon MS jersey with white pants. For about six hours that day, some vague social media posts made it look like the Maroon 85 jerseys might be making a comeback after being removed from the lineup last season. However, they proved to only be BP Tops, probably the best BP tops we've ever worn if it weren't for the nearly pink numbers and wordmark.

On Saturday, the Bulldogs debuted the brand new Adidas Heritage white pinstripe uniforms. The new pinstripes are modeled after those worn by State back in the 1960's; they feature a "State" script across the chest and a thin MS logo patch on the right sleeve. These are the third different version of white pinstripes that the Bulldogs have worn in recent years; in 2013 and early 2014 they wore these, which looked great during the Bulldogs' 2013 Omaha run. In 2015, they were brought back, but with thick Phillies- like stripes down the sides that pretty much ruined the look.
In game one of Sunday's doubleheader, the Bulldogs wore the Maroon MS jerseys again, but with the pinstripe pants. In the nightcap, they went back to the full pinstripes look, defeating now #11 Texas Tech to bring the new pinstripes to a 2-0 record on the weekend.
