Super Bulldog Weekend 2019 was a very successful one for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs captured their fourth SEC series win and first sweep of the season over the Alabama Crimson Tide, catapulting State to the top of the conference standings. The sweep was the Bulldogs' third over the Crimson Tide in the last four weekend series played in Starkville between the two clubs.
The week began with a midweek victory over South Alabama. The Bulldogs wore the white 85 jerseys for the fourth consecutive home midweek game; the win upped the white 85s' record to 5-0 on the season. The Bulldogs have yet to lose a single midweek game in 2019; combined with their stellar conference record thus far, that puts State in excellent postseason position as they approach the stretch run of the regular season.
In the Super Bulldog Weekend series sweep of Alabama, Mississippi State wore their "standard" weekend uniform rotation: Maroon 85 over White on Friday, 50s-style white "STATE" on Saturday, and "nickelblack" Black 85 over Black on Sunday. In the six home weekend series that State has played thus far in 2019, that has been the uniform rotation for the three that have been played Friday through Sunday without any doubleheaders or shifted days.
With three wins on the weekend, the uniforms stats for all three of the Bulldogs' standard weekend looks are now even better. The maroon 85 jerseys are now 8-2 on the season, and 6-2 when worn with white pants; the 50s-style white "STATE" jerseys are now 5-1. The all-black look, which has been mutually exclusive to Sundays in 2019 (meaning that it has only been worn on Sundays but has been worn in every single Sunday game), is now 5-0 this season; the Bulldogs are now 14-3 all-time in all-black uniforms.

This upcoming week, Mississippi State will host Texas Southern in a midweek game on Tuesday before heading to top-12 Arkansas for a Thursday-Saturday Easter Weekend series.
I wouldn't be shocked to see the white "State" pinstripes get a turn in the midweek game, seeing as how they haven't been worn since the March 30th game against LSU, and even that was the first time since March 13th against Grambling.
Also, this will be State's first Thursday-Saturday weekend series on the road in 2019, so it will be interesting to see how that is handled uniform-wise. If they keep to the trend of black only being worn on Sundays, then we could see the sleeveless gray jerseys make their SEC debut this weekend.
