The Bulldogs started off the second weekend of play by wearing the Maroon MS jerseys with white pants- the same combination they wore a week prior. On Saturday, the fourth of 17 combinations was announced: the White MS jersey. Saturday's second game was suspended in the 5th inning; it resumed on Sunday, with the Bulldogs wearing different uniforms.
Not wanting to change in-between games on Sunday but still wanting to bust out the Sunday creams, this was the solution. So, for the 1.5 games played on Sunday, the Bulldogs wore the cream uniforms, this time with the cream hat. This is technically an 18th combination- the 17 combinations graphic cleverly shows the cream uniforms being worn with a batting helmet instead of a hat, therefore not restricting the single combination to one hat.
