In a major rebuilding year that ended with a huge Egg Bowl win as well as a victory in the St. Petersburg Bowl, one of the most positive aspects of the season, especially early on, was the improvements made to the Bulldogs’ uniforms. The season brought much needed changes to the road jersey, added stripes to the pants lineup, and introduced an interesting new alternate helmet. With the exception of a couple questionable alternates, 2016 was the easily the most consistent year in recent memory for Mississippi State uniforms.
